Job Description:

The Bagagiste at The Westin Bora Bora Resort & Spa is responsible for greeting and escorting guests to rooms, assisting with luggage, providing information about property amenities and local areas of interest, arranging transportation, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires physical activity, adherence to company policies, and maintaining a professional appearance.

Job Responsibility:

Greet and escort guests to rooms
Open doors and assist guests/visitors
Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation
Identify and explain room features to guests
Transport guest luggage
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles
Supply guests with directions
Arrange transportation
Communicate parking procedures
Follow company policies and procedures
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Maintain awareness of undesirable persons
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
Read and visually verify information
Move at a speed required to respond to work situations
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
