Job Description:

The Baker will prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, using baking tools safely, following food safety policies, and maintaining a clean kitchen area. The role requires compliance with company policies, professional appearance, and effective communication. The Baker will also monitor food quality and portions, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
Prepare ingredients for cooking
Safely use baking tools/equipment
Follow food safety handling policies
Check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food
Wash and disinfect kitchen area
Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served
Follow company policies and procedures
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Less than 1-year related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
