Job Description:

The Commis Cook will prepare ingredients, cook food, and maintain kitchen standards at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore. Responsibilities include following recipes, operating kitchen equipment, and ensuring food quality. The role requires adherence to safety policies, maintaining a professional appearance, and contributing to a positive team environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking
Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
Prepare and cook food according to recipes
Operate kitchen equipment
Monitor food quality
Set-up and break down work station
Serve food in proper portions
Wash and disinfect kitchen area
Follow company and safety policies
Maintain uniform and personal appearance
Develop positive working relationships
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Lift and move objects up to 25 pounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
