Job Description:

The Banquets Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in banquet areas, assisting with setup and breakdown of events, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving objects, as well as adhering to safety and company policies.

Job Responsibility:

Complete final breakdown of function
Clean and return equipment to its proper location
Complete closing duties
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
Transport dirty linen
Assist other departments when needed
Follow all company and safety policies
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations
Read and visually verify information
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
