Job Description:
The Banquets Server at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Lake Oconee is responsible for preparing coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages, preparing tables and action stations, communicating meal requirements and special requests to the kitchen, ensuring courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed, responding to special banquet event arrangements, replenishing buffet items, monitoring tableware, maintaining cleanliness and organization of assigned station and service areas, busing tables, following company and safety policies, reporting accidents and unsafe work conditions, completing safety training and certifications, maintaining uniform and personal appearance, maintaining confidentiality, protecting company assets, welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing guests’ service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, thanking guests with genuine appreciation, speaking with others using clear and professional language, supporting team to reach common goals, ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, reading and visually verifying information, standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period of time, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects, grasping, turning, and manipulating objects, moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, moving up and down stairs and/or service ramps, reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and performing other reasonable job duties as requested.
