Job Description:

The Beach and Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the pool deck, promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests, responding to emergencies, and ensuring the safety and well-being of guests. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving objects, as well as interacting with guests and maintaining a professional appearance.

Job Responsibility:

Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck
Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in emergencies
Promote rules and regulations of the recreation facility
Provide assistance to injured guests
Obtain, fold, and stack towels
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Follow company policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Comply with quality assurance expectations
Read and visually verify information
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Enter and locate work-related information using computers
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Fitness Equipment certification
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
Ability to wash, mop, and clean the pool deck
Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in emergencies
Promote rules and regulations of the recreation facility
Provide assistance to injured guests
