Job Description:

The Behavioral Health Clinical Consultant will apply evidence-based practice standards to assess and coordinate treatment plans for behavioral health services, engage with members and providers to facilitate optimal care, and identify opportunities for quality improvements. The position is fully remote, requires licensure as LBA or BCBA, and involves collaboration to promote effective benefit management.

Job Responsibility:

Applies critical thinking and is knowledgeable in clinically appropriate treatment, evidence-based care and clinical practice guidelines for Behavioral Health, specific to ABA
Utilizes clinical experience and collaborative skills to assess treatment plans across levels of care
Coordinates, monitors, and evaluates options to facilitate healthcare services/benefits for members
Gathers clinical information and applies clinical criteria, policy, and judgment to render coverage
Coordinates with providers to facilitate optimal care/treatment
Identifies members at risk for poor outcomes and facilitates referrals
Identifies opportunities to promote quality and effectiveness of services
Consults and lends expertise to internal and external constituents.

Requirements:

Active, current and unrestricted LBA (Licensed Behavioral Analyst) or BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) in state of Oklahoma and reside in the state of Oklahoma
3+ years of autism treatment or ABA therapy experience required
2+ years’ experience using personal computer, keyboard navigation, navigating multiple systems and applications
and using MS Office Suite applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

Nice to have:

Managed care/utilization review experience
Case management experience
Ability to multitask, prioritize and effectively adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.
