Job Description:

Responsible for day-to-day Concierge and Bell operations; ensuring guest satisfaction while providing service with a smile. Includes guest assistance, ground transportation arrangements, luggage storage, handling guest items, and maintaining lobby cleanliness.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting guests and patrons by opening their car doors in the absence of the Door Service Agent
  • Maintains the cleanliness and condition of the Marriott and Singapore’s flag and report abnormalities to Bell Captains and Front Office Managers
  • Providing guests with information about local attractions
  • Making reservations for restaurants and attractions
  • Providing hotel guests with information about hotel services and facilities
  • Assisting hotel guests with ground transportation arrangements
  • Escorting arriving and departing guests respectfully
  • Taking extreme care handling guest personal items
  • Delivery of packages and luggage internally and externally
  • Maintaining short-term and long-term luggage storage
  • Ensuring smooth traffic at the Hotel forecourt
  • Completing guest requests via Bell Service Agent Movement Log
  • Greeting arriving guests and escorting them to the Front Desk
  • Assisting departing guests with transportation and luggage storage
  • Offering further assistance to guests
  • Keeping coordination with Front Desk and Call Center teams
  • Daily briefing and training
  • Performing doorman duties as assigned
  • Updating function sheet in the Bell Captains' absence
  • Maintaining cleanliness of hotel lobby areas
  • Delivering messages, mails, and parcels
  • Handling equipment for operation with care
  • Understanding hotel safety features and procedures
  • Communicating effectively with other departments
  • Adhering to grooming standards, SOPs, policies
  • Handling cash and payments according to procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum N level qualification
  • Have at least some service industry experience
  • Great communication skills & interpersonal skills
  • General knowledge of the city
  • Willingness to learn
  • Rotating shift work, including overnight shift work
  • Able to start work within short notice period
