Job Description:

Bellboy (Seasonal Temporary) position at The St. Regis Rome involves creating a memorable experience for guests throughout their stay. Responsibilities include guest relations, luggage management, arranging transportation, providing recommendations about the local area, and ensuring professional communication. Critical skills include customer service orientation, interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness.

Job Responsibility:

Arrange transportation for guests and visitors
record advance transportation requests as needed
tag, store, and retrieve luggage from storage
supply guests with directions and information regarding property services and local areas of interest
engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions
handle sensitive issues with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality
support all co-workers and treat them with dignity
speak to guests and co-workers using clear and professional language
answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.

Requirements:

Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property-specific processes
address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner
anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs
assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service
develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees
ensure uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, and professional
follow company and department policies and procedures
comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
follow property-specific procedures for handling emergency situations
maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises
report work-related accidents immediately to manager or supervisor.
