Job Description:

The Bellstand Attendant at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas Las Colinas is responsible for greeting and escorting guests, assisting with luggage, providing information about property amenities, and ensuring a high standard of guest service. The role requires physical activity, adherence to company policies, and maintaining a professional appearance. The position is full-time and onsite.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet and escort guests to rooms
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation
  • Identify and explain room features to guests
  • Transport guest luggage
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles
  • Supply guests with directions
  • Arrange transportation
  • Communicate parking procedures
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations
  • Read and visually verify information
  • Move at a speed required to respond to work situations
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects
  • Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • Reach overhead and below the knees
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • No license or certification required
