Job Description:

The Bellstand position at The Resort at Pelican Hill involves greeting and escorting guests, assisting with luggage, providing information about property amenities, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role requires physical activity, excellent communication skills, and adherence to company policies.

Job Responsibility:

Greet and escort guests to rooms
Open doors and assist guests/visitors
Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation
Identify and explain room features to guests
Transport guest luggage
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles
Supply guests with directions
Arrange transportation for guests/visitors
Communicate parking procedures
Assist Concierge and Front Office staff with guest requests
Serve as a departmental role model
Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments
Follow all company policies and procedures
Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises
Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Comply with quality assurance expectations
Read and visually verify information
Move at a speed required to respond to work situations
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Reach overhead and below the knees
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
