Job Description:

We are looking for a BI Data Analyst II to join our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in Garden City, New York. As a BI Data Analyst II, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, developing business intelligence tools, managing SQL and databases, automating data processing, and troubleshooting data discrepancies.

Job Responsibility:

Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify business trends and patterns
Utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI and SSRS to design and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations
Developing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance data accessibility and efficiency
Using Python and VBA for automating data processing, reporting, and analytical tasks
Identifying and resolving data inconsistencies and system performance bottlenecks
Developing and maintaining documentation of data models, workflows, and reporting processes
Collaborating with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and deliver actionable insights

Requirements:

Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL
Experience with SSRS - SQL Server Reporting Services
Ability to code in Python
Proficient use of Microsoft Power BI
Familiarity with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is a plus

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
