Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
Provide user and operational support on applications to business users
Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues
Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage
Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, resilient, scalable, high-quality software
Implement high load data solutions using various tools and technologies
Stay current and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, and vendors
Design, maintain application Components, CI/ CD pipelines for OpenShift
Improve code coverage by using sonar
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

7 to 9 years of strong experience in development, performance tuning, troubleshooting and deployment
Strong Experience in Apache Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala, Yarn, Talend, Hue
Programming skills with Scala, Java, J2EE, Python, Unix/Linux shell, Spark RD
Understanding of OOP and Functional design approach
Big Data Reporting, Querying and analysis
3 to 5 years of Development experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Knowledge of software architecture, design and testing
Familiar with standard SDLC and Agile processes
Ability to produce professional, technically sound solutions
Strong writing, communication, time-management, decision-making, and basic task organization skills
Experience in system design based on given constraints and goals
Knowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins/Team city, LightSpeed
Knowledge of version control tool such as GIT
