We are seeking a bilingual Mandarin Pricing Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining local and global network of pricing and other freight options possible for customers.
Job Responsibility:
Provide prompt and professional responses to all customer inquiries, overseas partners, and agents regarding Ocean and Air freight pricing and quotes
Collaborate effectively with Ocean/Air carriers, domestic/local drayage/intermodal services, and cross-border companies to ensure competitive shipping rates and optimal service delivery
Demonstrate exceptional communication skills in managing both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring timely follow-ups on all quotations
Review, analyze, and interpret service contracts to ensure accurate understanding of terms and conditions
Develop and continuously expand a local network of trusted carriers and a global network of agents to secure the best shipping routes and most cost-effective pricing
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors to access up-to-date pricing and industry insights
Proactively coordinate with the operations team, carriers, and other key parties to resolve issues and ensure the seamless delivery of customer shipments
Perform other related duties as required to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge and understanding of both domestic and international transportation industries, including trucking, air, and ocean shipping modes (minimum two years experience preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both internal teams and external partners
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to thorough follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), with the ability to create and manage reports, presentations, and correspondence
Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex logistics challenges and maintain customer satisfaction
