Job Description:

As a Bilingual Universal Banker, your primary role will be to manage the consumer loan process, provide exceptional customer service, and promote our credit union products and services. This role also offers a contract for permanent employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently handle the entire consumer loan process, from initiation to closing
Provide exceptional customer service and work with our members to meet their financial service needs
Promote and suggest our credit union products and services based on member's needs
Accurately process share deposit payments, loan payments, and lines of credit transactions
Handle cash and check withdrawals and ensure accurate disbursement
Balance cash drawer daily and handle Vault Teller responsibilities
Engage in conversations to suggest new products and services to our members
Participate actively in Credit Union outreach events
Adhere strictly to general regulatory procedures
Use Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and email correspondence, and manage answering inbound and outbound calls
Schedule appointments and handle order entries as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the non-profit sector
Proficient in answering inbound calls and managing inbound and outbound calls effectively
Demonstrated experience in call center customer service
Exceptional customer service skills are required
Proven ability to carry out data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Excellent email correspondence skills, ensuring clear and concise communication
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Experience in order entry is preferred
Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and in a timely manner
Bilingual skills are a must for this role
