Job Description:

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing customer records, processing applications, and addressing customer inquiries. In addition, the role involves overseeing customer accounts and implementing necessary measures.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently process credit applications of customers ensuring accuracy at all times
Maintain meticulous records of customer credit
Handle customer inquiries and provide solutions promptly
Monitor customer accounts closely and undertake appropriate actions as needed
Engage directly with patients to discuss due balances and devise plans for payment collection
Respond to incoming calls directed to the Billing Office, addressing queries related to balance and insurance
Work closely with the Claims Specialist and Eligibility Specialist to provide patients with information regarding coverage
Discuss with the Business Office Manager regarding the process of sending bills over 150 days to collections
Appeal against rejected or denied claims
Utilize various insurance provider portals to research claim information and follow up on outstanding claims
Deliver exceptional customer service and complete any additional tasks as required
Showcase high-quality work in A/R assignments
Assist in various departmental tasks as assigned including generating itemized statements, handling record requests, and answering incoming phone calls

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with Aderant software
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Must have knowledge of Costpoint
CRM skills are necessary
Familiarity with About Time software is beneficial
Must be able to perform Accounting Functions effectively
Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
Auditing skills are necessary
Must be proficient in Billing Functions
Experience in HealthCare Billing is essential
