Job Description:

We are seeking a proficient Billing Clerk to become a part of our team located in Northern Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Job Responsibility:

Input customer data accurately into Excel spreadsheets
Facilitate efficient processing of customer credit applications
Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records
Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required
Address customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
Apply advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel in daily tasks

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
Strong mathematical skills are essential for accurate billing and invoice processing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for communicating with clients and internal teams
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is necessary for this role
Ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion
Familiarity with billing software and other relevant computer applications is preferred
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of basic accounting principles would be advantageous
Good problem-solving skills to effectively resolve billing issues
Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Nice to have:

Prior experience in a similar role within the service industry is highly desirable
Familiarity with billing software and other relevant computer applications is preferred
Understanding of basic accounting principles would be advantageous
