Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in our office. As an integral part of our team, your role will involve managing various aspects of ticket resolution, ensuring accurate and complete information, and collaborating with internal teams for effective issue resolution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accurately processing and documenting ticket information
  • Identifying and correcting discrepancies or incomplete tickets
  • Communicating effectively with internal teams to clarify ticket details and resolve issues
  • Collaborating with other departments or teams to ensure timely ticket closure and effective resolution of issues
  • Taking full ownership of the ticket closure process, ensuring all steps are completed and issues are resolved before closing
  • Providing feedback and support to team members to improve processes

Requirements:

  • Accurately processing and documenting ticket information
  • Identifying and correcting discrepancies or incomplete tickets
  • Communicating effectively with internal teams to clarify ticket details and resolve issues
  • Collaborating with other departments or teams to ensure timely ticket closure and effective resolution of issues
  • Taking full ownership of the ticket closure process, ensuring all steps are completed and issues are resolved before closing
  • Providing feedback and support to team members to improve processes
  • Utilizing computer skills in a Microsoft Office/Windows environment, including proficiency in data entry and ten-key
  • Leveraging knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook
  • Maintaining a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Adapting to new processes, tools, or changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a detail oriented demeanor
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Previous experience or training in billing procedures
  • Familiarity with the 'About Time' system is desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Experience in closing billing cycles
  • Proficiency in 10 key skills
  • General computer skills, preferably in a Windows environment
  • Experience with a ticketing system
  • Ability to take corrective action when necessary
  • Experience working with internal teams
  • Maintain a detail oriented demeanor at all times
  • Ability to meet or exceed performance targets
  • Experience in photocopying and scanning documents
  • Familiarity with the billing software 'Billing'
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently

  • Familiarity with the 'About Time' system
