Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a Billing Clerk to become a part of our team. This role, based in South Plainfield, New Jersey, is a critical part of our operations, providing support in the areas of billing and invoice management. This role will be performed onsite, five days a week, with working hours from 9am-5pm.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and oversee the entire billing process
Enter and update invoices into the system with precision
Use Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks and reports
Maintain and ensure accuracy of all financial records
Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and invoices
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed
Utilize NetSuite for various billing and invoicing tasks

Requirements:

Proficiency in billing procedures and understanding of basic accounting principles
Capability to enter invoices accurately and efficiently
Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas and data analysis tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions
High school diploma or equivalent required
further education in finance or related field is a plus
