Job Description:

Robert Half is assisting a dynamic company in finding a highly skilled Billing Specialist to assist our local client's frequent needs.

Job Responsibility:

Process and issue accurate invoices, ensuring timely submission and proper documentation
Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve any issues with urgency
Maintain and update customer accounts with billing information
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations related to billing and payments
Generate reports to track billing metrics and improve operational efficiency
Stay current with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations

Requirements:

Professional Certifications (Preferred): Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems like Cerner and Epic
Familiarity with Workday software is an advantage
At least 1-3 years in billing, collections, or accounts receivable roles, preferably within the healthcare or medical industry
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Customer-focused mindset

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Workday software
