Job Description:

We are in search of a Billing Specialist to join our growing team in Seattle, Washington. This role is a crucial part of our operations, as you will be handling a wide range of responsibilities, including processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions when needed.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
Maintain precise records of customer credit
Manage accounts and invoices in third-party e-billing systems, coordinating with attorneys regarding invoice rejections, budget requirements, status updates, accruals, and other requested information
Execute complex bills in a timely and efficient manner, including those with multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, and alternative fee arrangements
Update billing rates and arrangements as required, and propose new billing formats or templates as needed
Respond to billing inquiries and issues, providing solutions where possible
Create billing schedules and conduct other billing analyses as necessary
Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients, ensuring strict confidentiality at all times
Adhere to firm billing policies and procedures
Assist with special projects as requested

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
Expertise in Computerized Billing
Proficiency in EHR SYSTEM
Knowledge of Epic Software
Familiarity with About Time software
Understanding of Accounting Functions
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls effectively

Nice to have:

Familiarity with About Time software
