Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join an established electrical company in Vista, CA, as a Billing Specialist. Responsibilities include handling billing processes, ensuring invoicing accuracy, and maintaining accounts receivable records. Prior experience in billing, preferably in construction or electrical industries, is preferred along with proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks and Excel.

Job Responsibility:

Process invoices and ensure timely billing to clients for completed projects
Verify the accuracy of billing data, such as hours worked, materials used, and service rates
Work closely with project managers and clients to resolve discrepancies in invoicing
Maintain records of accounts receivable and assist with collection of outstanding invoices as needed
Prepare monthly billing statements and reports for review by the accounting team
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for billing procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
2+ years of experience in billing, preferably in the construction or electrical industries
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines
Excellent customer service and communication skills to handle client queries professionally
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and AR processes is a plus.
