Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper / General Accountant to join our client's team. This role will focus primarily on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Payroll, along with general accounting duties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with ERP systems and payroll processing (ADP, Kronos) while ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain accurate financial records, process journal entries, and reconcile accounts
Process weekly payroll for 300 hourly employees
Manage AR with a primary focus on one major customer
Ensure timely payments
Minimal collections required, primarily email follow-ups
Utilize CMS (AS400 system), Solar Soft, and Epicor for accounting tasks
Must be proficient in GL functions and reconciliations
Assist with the 2-3 day month-end close process

Requirements:

Proven experience in general accounting, AR, and payroll processing
Proficiency with ADP, Kronos, and ERP systems (CMS AS400, Epicor, or similar platforms)
Strong understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
