Job Description:

A trusted professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of financial processes and support the smooth running of the business.

Job Responsibility:

Managing all aspects of accounts and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting
Overseeing overall accounts management
Preparing and delivering monthly management accounts with detailed analysis
Submitting quarterly VAT returns
Handling monthly invoicing processes
Credit control
Managing daily bank account reconciliation
Overseeing supplier payments, company credit cards, and expense processing
Maintaining car and mileage schedules
Monitoring partner phone bills for VAT reclaims
Managing general expenses

Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a professional services or consultancy environment
A recognised bookkeeping qualification such as AAT Level 3 or above (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of Xero accounting software
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers
