Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client’s finance team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience with financial software.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts
Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Assist with tax filings, budgeting, and financial forecasting
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies

Requirements:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
