Job Description:

Jenny Bour with Robert Half is working with a growing company in the construction industry that is adding a Bookkeeper to their team! This exciting Bookkeeper opportunity is located in Tonawanda, NY. In this Bookkeeper role, you will be tasked with managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, along with other responsibilities as the role develops. You will operate in a fast-paced environment and will need to adapt quickly to changes.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations
Manage and reconcile account data
Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks
Transition from QuickBooks online to Oracle NetSuite
Provide weekly reports on AP and AR
Handle payroll tasks as needed
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records
Conduct month-end close activities
Perform data entry tasks as required
Manage bank reconciliations

Requirements:

3+ years of experience working in AP, AR, or Bookkeeping position
Solid experience in Bookkeeping is crucial
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Month End Close procedures are preferred
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Oracle Netsuite, or similar system
