Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper based in Forsyth, Georgia. In this role, you will be expected to perform tasks such as account reconciliation, managing accounts payable and receivable, and client write-up work. You will also be required to utilize your skills in QuickBooks Online and ACS Thomson Reuters software to carry out your tasks effectively.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of data
Manage accounts payable to ensure all financial information is up-to-date
Handle accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments
Carry out client write-up work to maintain client records accurately
Use QuickBooks Online for various bookkeeping activities
Utilize ACS Thomson Reuters software for various financial tasks
Assist with the balancing of year-end assets and liabilities to ensure financial stability
Handle loan balances and corrections to ensure accurate financial records
Perform credit card reconciliations to correct discrepancies
Conduct auditing of books to ensure accuracy and compliance
Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data effectively

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role
Proficiency in account reconciliation
Practical knowledge of handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience in conducting bank reconciliations
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Proficient in data entry tasks
High-level competency in Microsoft Excel
Experience in managing month-end close processes
Ability to handle payroll tasks efficiently
Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential
Familiarity with Thompson Reuters TaxStream Software is desirable
Experience with Quickbooks Online is a plus
