Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in the construction industry, based in Jupiter, Florida. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for handling various financial tasks such as reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records
Manage accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely and accurate payment processing
Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy
Process and post payments to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Execute journal entries as part of month and year-end closes
Prepare profit and loss statements to provide a comprehensive view of the company’s financial performance
Handle invoicing tasks to ensure proper billing of services
Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis, specifically using VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables
Use QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
Manage payroll operations, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time

Requirements:

Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations
Demonstrable knowledge of Bookkeeping
Possessing strong Data Entry skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience in Month End Close processes
Knowledge of Payroll processing
Proficiency in QuickBooks
