Job Description:

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Branch/Retail Banking Clerk in Midland, Texas. Operating within the banking industry, you will be a key player in our team, tasked with managing customer accounts, processing applications, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues that arise
Marketing a diverse range of credit and non-credit products to potential and existing customers
Profiling customers to understand their needs and tailor services accordingly
Operating a teller window and ensuring secure transactions
Processing checks and handling cash with utmost accuracy
Utilizing banking software for data processing and account management
Opening new accounts and guiding customers through the process
Taking and processing consumer loan applications
Ensuring the provision of community, commercial, daily, and transaction banking services
Maintaining an updated record of customer credit information

Requirements:

A minimum of 1+ years of experience in a banking or financial services environment
Proficiency in using banking software for various operational tasks
Solid experience in data processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Capability to handle inbound calls, providing excellent customer service
Experience in check processing, following all necessary procedures and regulations
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues effectively
Knowledge of various banking services, and ability to guide customers accordingly
Familiarity with community banking practices and principles
Understanding of commercial banking operations and services
Experience in daily banking operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
Expertise in transaction banking, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and promptly
Proven ability in handling cash, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
