Job Description:

As a Branch/Retail Banking Clerk, you'll handle a variety of tasks related to customer service and loan processing in the banking industry. This role is a contract to permanent employment opportunity, allowing you to play a key role in maintaining and updating our clients' financial records and assisting in the loan process.

Job Responsibility:

Use banking software to manage and update customer accounts
Handle inbound calls from customers and provide high-quality service
Process checks and update customer credit records accordingly
Assist customers in understanding and applying for consumer loans
Collaborate with the loan administration team to process loans efficiently
Participate in loan origination and underwriting processes
Prepare loan agreements and ensure they are accurate before loan closing
Review loans regularly and assist in managing the loan portfolio
Assist in gathering data for loan underwriting and processing
Scan and digitize loan documents for record-keeping and easy retrieval

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the banking sector
Proficiency in using banking software
Experience in answering inbound calls
Knowledge of check processing procedures
Familiarity with consumer loans
Understanding of credit management
Experience in loan administration
Proficiency in loan origination procedures
Ability to draft and review loan agreements
Experience in loan review processes
Knowledge of loan underwriting procedures
