Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute the brand’s strategic plan for the China region, aligning with global objectives and local market dynamics
  • Lead and manage the local team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance
  • Oversee all aspects of brand operations in China, including marketing, sales, retail, and e-commerce
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and partners
  • Drive brand awareness and market penetration through innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Ensure the brand’s values and commitment to sustainability are reflected in all local activities and communications
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for the China region, ensuring profitability and growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the retail, fashion, or outdoor industry, preferably with a focus on the China market
  • Strong understanding of the Chinese consumer market, including cultural nuances and purchasing behaviors
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic plans that drive brand growth and market share
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in managing budgets, financial performance, and operational efficiency
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Passion for the outdoors and a deep appreciation for the brand’s values and mission
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential.
