Job Description:

As a bus electrician, you'll be responsible for building and installing electrical systems in buses, including high-voltage drivelines, navigation systems, and more. You will also test and troubleshoot electrical and software systems, working within a collaborative environment at VDL in Valkenswaard.

Job Responsibility:

designing electrical schematics
installs customer-specific systems such as payment or navigation systems
flawlessly installs the high-voltage drivelines of the electric buses
tests the software behind the control systems
adjusts motor drives of various types and manufacturers according to instructions
quickly detects and repairs faults or error messages in electrical systems

Requirements:

completed MBO+, HBO technical education in electrical engineering, mechatronics or automotive
basic diploma of a technical education with opportunity for internal studies
preferably work experience in the automotive sector and/or mechanical engineering
experience as an electrician
good command of the Dutch and/or English language, both verbally and in writing
