Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Analyst/ Application Product Owner to join our team in the Banking industry located in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. In this role, you will be collaborating with stakeholders while using Agile methodologies to achieve project goals. You will also be responsible for understanding stakeholder needs, identifying opportunities for product enhancement, and maintaining a product backlog. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders using Agile methodologies to meet project goals and deadlines
  • Understand stakeholder needs, identify pain points, and generate innovative ideas for product enhancement
  • Maintain a product backlog, translating unstructured or ambiguous requests into actionable user stories
  • Conduct functional testing of PBIs before their release into production
  • Continuously evaluate, prepare, and meticulously plan PBIs for future development cycles
  • Evaluate current business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for enhancement
  • Host meetings and presentations to share application process ideas and findings
  • Review support tickets or customer feedback to identify common issues or pain points experienced by users
  • Serve as Operations Department backup support when necessary
  • Participate in seminars and community outreach efforts to provide tutorials and walkthroughs of the web application

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking sector
  • Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management
  • Demonstrable experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
  • Proven skills in Gap Analysis to identify improvements in business processes
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with AB Testing methods to optimize business processes
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies for project management
  • Solid understanding of Business Process Functions within the Banking industry
  • Capable of creating effective Business Requirement Documents
  • Experience in Claim Administration within the banking sector
