Job Description:

This role involves working within the television production technology sector, focusing on innovative solutions for various business problems with an aim to increase insight and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and demonstrate system functionality
conduct detailed analysis of data using resources such as SQL databases, multi-dimensional databases, or Microsoft Excel
translate business requirements into technical requirements for implementation
act as the first point of contact for user-reported issues, providing support where necessary
develop, document, and estimate the effort required for test cases, as well as carry out application testing
produce training materials and conduct training sessions for users
work closely with developers to understand the application in full detail
identify and communicate any potential risks or issues that may arise
monitor the progress of sprints using tools like JIRA
carry out various types of testing, including web application testing, report testing, interface testing, and conversion testing and reconciliation
validate data using tools like Excel and SQL
maintain a focus on production and post-production aspects within the television industry

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
familiarity with database management
understanding of finance and reconciliations
experience in production and progress management
knowledge of JIRA and creation of test cases
ability to develop training materials
understanding of television and post-production processes
ability to translate complex concepts for business users
experience with SQL database and data validation
skills in detailed analysis and defining technical requirements
understanding of dimensional modeling
ability to analyze business requirements
experience in planning test efforts and AB testing
proficiency in documenting test plans
experience in web application testing
familiarity with platforms like 'Join Me'
background in television production is a plus
