Job Description:

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with market risk experience to join their team on a long-term project focused on intraday risk. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative and inclusive environment, working on an essential project for the bank. You will play a pivotal role in project delivery, working closely with technology partners and stakeholders to develop solutions and drive implementation.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology partners and collaborate effectively on implementation tasks
Lead detailed requirements discussions across various stakeholder groups to optimize testing plans and strategies
Recommend delivery and implementation approaches after evaluating estimated efforts, resource availability, and cross-program dependencies
Quickly acquire domain expertise in diverse areas of risk and valuations
Effectively summarize and communicate complex quantitative problems to senior management
Dive deep into data analysis to investigate and derive insights from large data sets
Facilitate testing processes to ensure operational readiness
Assist with stream resource planning, issue tracking, risk management, and financial planning to support the project roadmap

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience in a business analyst or similar role
Proven market risk experience
Experience with risk infrastructure
Strong stakeholder communication skills
Demonstrated project delivery experience
Proficiency in working with large data sets and conducting data analysis
Experience collaborating with technology partners

Nice to have:

Familiarity with Python, JSON, and APIs
CFA or FRM designation
Previous experience in a similar project delivery capacity
