Job Description:

We have an opening for a Business Analyst in the West Des Moines, IA area (hybrid in Des Moines and looking for local candidates only). Responsibilities include eliciting and documenting requirements, collaborating with business units and development teams, and ensuring complex requirements are executable and testable.

Job Responsibility:

Elicits and documents requirements through user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams, etc.
Collaborates and builds trusted relationships with business units, development teams, and other stakeholders to gather, analyze and prioritize requests.
Ensures complex requirements are executable, testable, complete and not ambiguous.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
3+ years of business analysis experience
Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills including facilitation and presentation
Proven ability to elicit and document requirements in a clear and concise manner
Technical skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Jira (or similar tool), and ability to write basic to moderately complex SQL queries
Ability to communicate to all levels in an organization, strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, flexible, proactive and willing to take ownership
Experience on a variety of simple to complex projects
Experience with agile
