Job Description:

The role involves teaching Business Studies and Economics, ideally including A-level, iGCSE, BTEC Business, and/or A-level Economics, in a fully qualified capacity within an international school in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong. The school emphasizes care, kindness, respect, and compassion with small class sizes, creative approaches to teaching, and many extracurricular activities. Teachers are expected to commit to excellence and participate actively in the school's community.

Job Responsibility:

Teaching Business Studies and Economics
line managing a small cross-school team
contributing to extracurricular programmes
ensuring every student is supported and encouraged
progressing the career in the school's philosophy

Requirements:

Experience teaching A level and iGCSE Business Studies
experience with BTEC Business and/or A-level Economics
fully qualified with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience
very good understanding of current best practice in subject teaching area
ability to line manage a small cross-school team
high standard of communication in all aspects
valuing & integrating diversity
innovative and creative
contribute to extensive extra-curricular programme
undertake other duties in addition to teaching duties
