We are seeking a Business Continuity Consultant who will be responsible for ensuring our customers' IT infrastructure and program operations can withstand and recover from disruptions, including cyberattacks, natural disasters, system failures, and other emergencies. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR) plans, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The consultant will collaborate with IT teams, customer units, and stakeholders to create resilient services for both business customers and service delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, implement, and maintain IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans
Ensure IT resilience strategies align with business objectives and compliance requirements
Define recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) for IT services
Plan and execute regular IT disaster recovery exercises and business continuity tests
Analyse test results and update continuity plans accordingly
Conduct training sessions for IT teams and business stakeholders on continuity procedures
Ensure IT BC/DR strategies comply with industry regulations and best practices (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, GDPR)
Maintain up-to-date documentation for all business continuity and disaster recovery plans
Work with auditors and regulatory bodies to demonstrate IT resilience compliance
Work closely with IT infrastructure, security, and business teams to enhance continuity measures
Stay updated on emerging threats, new technologies, and industry best practices for IT resilience
Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve IT continuity and disaster recovery
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Extensive experience (min 5 years) in Cybersecurity, with a focus on Business Continuity
Solid understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies and their application in architecture design and development
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
