Job Description:

Are you passionate about building relationships and driving business growth? Our client, a leading organisation in the commercial insurance sector, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital role in identifying new business leads and converting them into long-lasting customer relationships.

Job Responsibility:

Proactively contributing to the development and execution of a comprehensive business development plan
Identifying cross-selling opportunities to existing clients, introducing them to our client's range of financial services products
Researching and implementing effective communication methods to generate sales from new and existing clients
Representing our client at trade events, shows, and networking opportunities to generate new business leads
Building strong relationships with prospective clients, guiding them through the process from commitment to quote
Ensuring client data is accurate and up to date
Delivering exceptional levels of customer service, exceeding expectations at every opportunity

Requirements:

Proven track record in highly driven and ambitious targeted business development and/or sales role
Proven track record in business planning/ developing contact strategies
Good understanding of business structures and commerciality
Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills, including networking skills
Experience and knowledge of insurance industry
Experience dealing with commercial business directors
Experience managing a sales pipeline
Previous experience using MSD (CRM) systems
