We are actively searching for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in New Haven County, Connecticut. In the role, you will be instrumental in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth through the identification and securing of new recurring revenue clients. You will also nurture referral-based relationships and generate leads to support our ongoing success.
Job Responsibility:
Engage with potential clients by introducing our company and qualifying them for business opportunities
Drive revenue growth by securing new business deals
Foster and maintain relationships for referral-based business
Regularly review and manage our prospecting database
Actively engage in outbound sales activities
Participate actively in our training and development programs
Develop and maintain a strong lead generation network through various activities
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Business Development Manager
Proven track record in B2B Sales and Business sales
Strong experience in IT Sales
Proficiency in Outbound Sales is essential
Must possess strong negotiation and closing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Proven strategic sales experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
