We are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive growth for our cybersecurity-focused IT solutions company, primarily serving government clients. This role is fully remote and ideal for a results-driven professional with experience in government contracting and IT sales.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within federal, state, and local government sectors
Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
Research and track government RFPs, RFIs, and contracting opportunities in cybersecurity and IT
Collaborate with technical teams to craft tailored solutions and proposals
Manage the sales pipeline and meet revenue growth targets
Requirements:
Proven experience in government IT sales, business development, or capture management
Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, NIST standards, and federal procurement processes
Ability to generate leads and close deals in a highly regulated environment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
Nice to have:
Experience creating lasting relationships with clients in the IT/Cybersecurity space
Experience prospecting new clients (mainly government focused)
Proven experience in a SaaS product or IT Solutions sales environment
