Job Description:

The Business Execution (BE) Lead in Tanzania is responsible for supporting the CCO and Banking Head with the growth and client strategy of the franchise, Legal Entity management through an efficient and streamlined governance model, enhancing the Controls environment, promoting a culture of proactive controls, and leading the transformation execution.

Job Responsibility:

Lead client-focused strategic initiatives on behalf of the CCO and Banking Head to enable business growth
Support CCO and Banking Head in implementing and running a streamlined and effective Legal Entity governance model
Ensure Legal Entity governance model adheres to local laws and requirements
Support the CCO and Banking Head in monitoring the performance of the franchise against the defined and agreed Scorecard
Coordinate Regulatory matters for the Legal Entity
Promote a culture of proactive controls, and drive accountability
Ensure effective management of Operational Risk controls, issues, remediation efforts and controls enhancements
Ensure effective management of Compliance Risk controls, issues, remediation efforts and controls enhancements
Ensure effective management of Financial Risks
Audit Management and independent review coordination in conjunction with ICRM

Requirements:

At least 10 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Business Administration or related field
Well versed in risk management and corporate governance concepts
General understanding of financial institutions framework and applicable regulation
Business minded, client focused, and commercially savvy
Execution focused with a positive and winning mindset
Strong organizational and program management skills
Proactive controls minded
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly collaborative and solutions oriented
Excellent interpersonal skills
