Job Description:

Manage company finances, human resources, and day-to-day office administration for a Pennsylvania-based strategic communications firm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage bookkeeping, invoicing and accounts receivable/accounts payable, and financial reporting to support decision making, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Work closely with outside accounting and payroll firm to maintain efficient accounting processes and internal controls and monitor payroll and related tax filings
  • Ensure that all company taxes are timely paid and all government reporting requirements are met
  • Manage the firm’s human resources, including employee processing and compensation, development and management of all benefits including insurance, leave and compensation
  • Work with outside firms to oversee 401(k) plan and insurance benefits
  • Responsible for day-to-day administration to keep office running smoothly, including office systems and supplies and equipment procurement
  • Manage all internal maintenance and office issues
  • Provide administrative support and customer service

Requirements:

  • Proficient in QuickBooks
  • experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping
