Job Description:

The Business Risk and Control Sr Manager is responsible for managing professional teams, integrating subject matter and industry expertise, and ensuring implementation of controls and policies. This includes short-term planning, resource management, and full management responsibilities like performance evaluation, hiring, and budgeting.

Job Responsibility:

Contribute to governance and the facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA)
manage teams in the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework
perform a detailed analysis on the identification of issue root cause
contribute to the Lessons Learned Policy
participate in the review and challenge process on the effective design and management of controls
contribute to the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the MCA through controls
support adherence to the MCA Standard
ensure compliance with Operational and Compliance Risk
perform detailed analysis to identify, assess, escalate, and manage risk exposures
support Risk Appetite and assess exposures
ensure governance and training to support Risk profiles
address risks associated with New Activities and business changes
support operational risk scenario analysis and stress testing
ensure sufficient subject matter expertise for managing risks
ensure risk and control responsibilities and accountabilities are embedded
apply knowledge of the business to identify control points and processes
appropriately assess risk when making business decisions

Requirements:

6-10 years of experience
project management and governance experience with demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed critical milestones
outstanding leadership, communication, and influencing skills
ability to foster working relationships with other leaders across multiple lines of business and with support organizations, including auditors and regulators
demonstrated judgment and critical thinking skills
