Job Description:

The Business Risk and Controls Intermediate Analyst is responsible for performing analysis to support governance, risk management, and controls processes across the organization, addressing variable issues, and providing professional judgment in analyzing data and managing risks.

Job Responsibility:

Perform analysis to support governance and support in the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA)
provide support in assessing the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework
perform analysis to support issue root cause identification and recommend corrective actions
provide analysis on effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by Control Standards
test and assess MCA adherence through QC and QA processes
provide analysis on Operational and Compliance Risk in accordance with Policy requirements
support identification, assessment, escalation, and management of risk exposures across Risk Categories
apply knowledge of the business to implement control points and processes
assess risk when business decisions are made
track and resolve risk issues
implement improvement strategies and monitor indicators
execute target state Business-as-Usual Finance processes related to models
proactively manage Model Risk by establishing Forward Looking Metrics Reporting, and capture/report Model Performance Statistics for threshold breaches

Requirements:

4 - 6 years relevant experience
experience in working with the various risk and control systems and reporting requirements
project management skills
excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and adapt to change
problem solver with the ability to translate plans into actions
consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
self-motivated and detail oriented, ability to function independently
experience with work-flow systems
excellent project management and organizational skills
knowledge/experience in assessing, designing and implementing technology and data controls
ability to identify technology/application control gaps
experience of partnering with Technology teams for enhancement of Technology controls
