Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our clients manufacturing team on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience, expertise in SAP, and a background in purchasing materials, components, and supplies for a high-volume production environment.

Job Responsibility:

Source, evaluate, and purchase raw materials, components, and supplies based on production needs
Maintain optimal inventory levels while ensuring cost-effectiveness and supplier reliability
Utilize SAP to manage purchase orders, track shipments, and analyze procurement data
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules
Work closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams to support uninterrupted operations
Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with company procurement policies

Requirements:

3+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in SAP is mandatory
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and improve procurement processes
Excellent organizational and communication skills
