Job Description:

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Cable Technician in Fresno, California. In this role, you will be providing IT support to a variety of client sites, predominantly major retail firms. Your work will involve some travel and onsite work within a 1-hour driving radius. As a Cable Technician, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting network infrastructure issues, maintaining routers and switches, and providing technical support.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure optimal functionality of routers and switches
Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues related to MDF/IDF, VOIP, or cabling
Manage the installation, troubleshooting, escalating, or maintaining hardware or software issues
Handle surveillance and security systems, including cameras and access control setups
Respond to tickets through a ticketing system and provide onsite response when required
Document the triage process and organize project planning for future work
Leverage knowledge of access control, broadband, Cisco technologies, data networks, Apple devices, and cable television for effective problem-solving
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional customer-facing experience and technical support

Requirements:

Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role as a Cable Technician
Demonstrable proficiency in Access Control
Hands-on experience with Broadband
Proficiency in utilizing Cisco Technologies
Solid understanding of Data Networks
Experience with Apple Devices
Proven track record in Cable Installation
Expertise in Cable Television

Experience with Apple Devices
