Job Description:

The role is primarily based in the fiber optics industry, where you will be tasked with a range of duties from prepping and splicing fiber optic cables to operating a bucket truck while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Splicing both loose tube and ribbon fiber optic cables efficiently and accurately
Testing and troubleshooting fiber optic systems
Installing rack mounts and fiber optic enclosures
Performing aerial line work
Operating assorted fiber equipment
Reading and interpreting prints and fiber maps
Following splice logs
Ensuring the fiber optic systems are audited and creating as-builts
Coring and splicing OSP coax, balancing Amps, and certifying Nodes
Operating a bucket truck, ensuring all safety and traffic regulations are adhered to

Requirements:

Proficiency in Fiber Optics
Extensive knowledge and experience working with CAT5 cabling
Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain CAT6 cabling systems
