Job Description:

We are seeking a proficient Cable Technician to join our team in the IT consulting industry, based in Easley, South Carolina. The Cable Technician will be responsible for the efficient installation and maintenance of cable systems. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and direct the cable installation crew to ensure efficient and accurate work
Utilize knowledge of Cisco Technologies and Data Networks in daily operations
Ensure the proper functioning of Broadband and Cable Television systems
Regularly report to the field manager on the progress and status of tasks
Use Apple Devices and BluePrint for task management and reporting
Engage in AB Testing to ensure the effectiveness of cable installations
Maintain industry-related certifications to stay updated with the latest technologies and practices
Manage customer inquiries and issues related to cable services and installations
Be comfortable traveling throughout the Southeast up to 50%

Requirements:

Broad knowledge and understanding of Broadband technology
Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Strong understanding of Data Networks, with the ability to design, implement and maintain them
Experience in AB Testing procedures to ensure optimal system performance
Familiarity with Apple Devices, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve their issues
Proficiency in using BluePrint for designing and mapping network infrastructure
Expertise in Cable Installation, including planning, executing and testing
Experience in Cable Television technology, with the ability to diagnose and fix related problems
