Job Description:

Handle the picking of merchandise cases for stores and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures. Tasks include collecting store orders, operating power equipment, and maintaining a clean working environment.

Job Responsibility:

Collect and read store orders that include item location, descriptions, and quantity
Gather the required cases of merchandise and transfer cases to pallets or conveyers using safe lifting techniques
Demonstrate ability to operate power equipment and perform preliminary safety checks of equipment
Ensure pallet security with tape and shrink wrap
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following safety guidelines
Perform general housekeep to ensure working area and aisles are clear of debris
Participate in training for other warehouse duties
Carry out area strategy to maintain performance metric standards

Requirements:

Basic awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills
0-2 years work experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
